VoiceAct ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile voice-acting practice tool that allows users to read scripts, record their voice, and save recordings locally on their device.

• The App allows you to record audio for practice.

• Device identifiers (beyond authentication)

2.4 App Usage Data

• We do not track your activity or behavior.
• We do not use analytics tools in the MVP version.

3. How We Use Data

• Audio is used only for generating local feedback (processed on your device).
• Account information is used for authentication and personalization.
• Script preferences or saved demos remain local to your device.
• Your information is never sold or shared with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

VoiceAct uses minimal third-party services:

• Supabase - Secure authentication and account storage (compliant with GDPR)
• Microphone access (with your permission) used ONLY for recording
• No external servers transmit or receive user recordings

5. Permissions

The App requests:

Microphone Permission

• Used solely for voice recording.
• Required for the core purpose of the App.

Storage Permission (Optional)

• Only if the user exports or saves recordings outside the app.

6. Children's Privacy

• VoiceAct is suitable for general audiences.
• We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13.

7. Security

• All account data is encrypted and stored securely through Supabase.
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Recordings are stored only on your device; their security depends on your device's operating system.
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

• You maintain full control over your account and data.
• You may delete all recordings at any time from within the App.
• You may delete your account and all associated data through Settings.
• You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• You may update your profile information at any time.
